This application is not intended for ordinary users - it is a tool for developers to evaluate and experiment with the Orion360 SDK (Basic) for Android.Orion360 SDK is the leading SDK for creating 360/VR video apps, with hundreds of licensed apps and millions of downloads. These examples are made for the Basic version of the SDK.
The examples demonstrate various Orion360 SDK features, including:
- 360 photo/video playback from network streams, downloaded files, sideloaded files, and files embedded to the app installation package
- VR mode (to be used with Google Cardboard or similar VR frame)
- Standard and customized video control widget
- Sensor fusion and touch input
- Preview image, crossfade
- Projections (rectilinear, littleplanet, source)
- Non-spherical sources such as doughnut video
- Nadir patch
- Director's cut i.e. forced perspective
