A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Update: My issues have since been solved with the latest series of patches. The app now runs pretty smoothly and functions properly. I'm satisfied with the app, overall. Thanks for the support. Consistently gives the http 401 error on my Razer Phone 2. Can't even check the status of my charging session, let alone initiate a new one. Customer service does not seem to be able to help. This never happened with the old app.
1 ★I cannot, for the life of me figure out how to enter my credit card information. It says card added successfully, but the card doesn't show up and I cannot charge my card, or my car. It worked for me one time, but didn't save any info.
2 ★App ruined by shell. Before it was simple and easy to use. Now the app gives a 401 error every time. I have to log out and log in to get it to work. Also the amount of steps required to start charging has increased. You have to click twice as many screens now all saying the same stupid stuff. Your quality assurance team needs to be fired.
1 ★Worst ever. Asks for password. Does not like password, says it will send to email but doesn't, meanwhile standing outside in -20. Eventually just gave up. Whoever made this app needs to be slapped.
1 ★Not only does the app not seem to work, but calling support they were unable to get it to work and were rather unwilling to troubleshoot with me. They just blamed me for not being able to do it correctly. As it turns out, there are many that have been complaining about the app for well over a week now. It seems strange that greenlots support wouldn't even know about the app not working
1 ★I was trying to finish the charge on my car. Tried twice with this app and failed to get any charge at all. The app charged me 5 bucks for each attempt. I'm not sure if this is bad programming or a rapacious business model, but the driver doesn't matter. I am dropping this immediately. Please note that this app is not necessary to use PGE charging stations in Portland, Oregon. Worst app I've ever seen.
1 ★Terrible- does not work. Zero stars!! 2 machines were not accepting the payment- received error message. Called customer service and their system had crashed. App would not allow you to sign up because you can not put in a country/state. Tried this on 2 different phones, also not able to find the charger on the app and stays on the 'find a charger's screen. Called customer service after 15 min and their system still crashed.
1 ★Literally can't start the app without having location enabled (it automatically shuts off after giving a notice). You really don't need my data that badly, it's just convenience, fix it. Tried to sign up online and it kept rejecting my passwords for not having special characters (apparently an underscore doesn't count). Still trying to get a membership to use with My Kia Chargeup account, the only reason I'm still here.
1 ★Updated 7-22-2020 for app version 4.0.3: This app continues to be the worst by far out of all of the EV charging apps that I've ever used. Every single update breaks my login credentials and forces me to reinstall the app after clearing the cache. Even when I do log in, the app often fails to even scan or look up the charging station. Keep in mind, I'm not using some hacked phone or anything, this is on stock Pixel 4 xl. 0/5 stars, get an RFID tag and save yourself the trouble
3 ★The app looks nice and mostly works well. However, it automatically logs me out on some random interval. Seriously, guys, use better login management strategies. Give me the option to use a fingerprint if you're so concerned about security. Even my bank app doesn't force me to manually login every time I want to use it.
2 ★whoever wrote this last update program got it all wrong To be honest plain and simply put the update is lacking greatly. I am very bothered that somebody could write such a poor program. I love updates but this one is incredibly poor. Not user friendly very confusing the interface is terrible. The last version definitely needed to be polished but was with out a doubt better than this one. I really hope that somebody gets on this and fixes it fast. Missed the mark big time 3/16/20
2 ★The app never updates you on charging progress. States it updates every 5 minutes, but never updates until you unplug, and it takes several hours after. Initial temporary charges are $60, meaning my card was temporarily charged $120 for what should have been $3. The charges dropped down after about 4 days. Tldr: it's really buggy.
