4 ★Best I've found, deserves more attention
4 ★It's simple and it works. Easy to add. Easy to delete, but a few concerns. The color themes go a little too light and it become hard to see the text at the top of the list. Also when hitting the add button, if your finger slightly misses, you can end up overwriting a previous entry. Wish I could change the color of every entry to represent categories within a group or having subgroups. Needs ability to add reminders and quantities as well. How about moving items to a shopping list? Thanks for the app!
5 ★I am using it to keep track of my homemade cheeses which are stored in a converted fridge (A.K.A. "The Cheese Cave"). I create groups like "Cheddar" and "Jarlsberg" and add the size of the cheese and when it was made to the appropriate group. I now know what cheeses I have and when they are most likely to be ready to eat. I was going to create a sortable spreadsheet but this program does everything I want it to do. I shall try and inform my fellow Curd Nerds. Definitely worth the 5 stars.
4 ★Simple and easy to use, and works as advertised. However, it only allows for 1 level of grouping, which is good enough if you are only managing one fridge or freezer. Would like to see another sub-grouping feature or a food category feature, so for instance, I could have a group called Basement freezer and a category called Cookies, and then item for each type of cookies I have.
3 ★Simple app. Search function is great and ability to create multiple areas (like work fridge) is super. Needs more features to be more useful, such as ability to move an item from the fridge to the freezer, quantity, easier ability to delete/use an item, and item memory so I don't have to enter the entire description every time. A barcode scanner would be nice too.
3 ★Pretty basic, would really benefit from some additional features such as ability to add sub categories (meat, vegetables, meals etc) and colour code. Would be useful to add quantities ( weight or unit) and be able to duplicate an item. Would also be useful to have some sort of reconciliation feature so you can check through the freezer and tick items off to ensure the app is up to date! I chose this app because of the ability to share with my spouse but on the basis of the lack of features above I'm going to keep searching.
5 ★I lost a bagel in my freezer. And this app has helped me to keep track of my freezer contents! Great stuff.
2 ★Shows the dates incorrectly (there are not 25 months in a year). Dates should display according to locale of device.
5 ★Works well so far. Will edit when I have more experience with it.
2 ★Portrait mode works well (keeps loading something for a while?), but landscape mode causes app to load(?) something forever and does not save or display any items. Also there are no separate lists for freezer and fridge.
