5 ★Been using it a short while no issues to speak of, bought the professional with overlay. Which the overlay was alittle more customisable, but it works well. Quality is definitely better than most actual dash cams I've seen. (Because phone cameras are generally better I'd imagine) But if you want a dashcam and have an okay(ish) phone camera then this is for you. Cheaper too, didn't bother with the free version so I can't tell you if the ads would of been intrusive.
5 ★Dash Android camera app. with perfect handling in a car. Large buttons are benefical. Very simple to use. Good stability, every month updates, perfect features, Background recording, Auto-Start/Stop,Auto Upload to Youtube, G-force, Acceleration,... You can remove small banner ad at the bottom of screen for very little money. I can use my phone as best Android car camera 👍
5 ★Best! for my use case scenario. Wished it had a save moment voice/button something. @DashCam Travel - most dashcams (garmin in my case) have a save moment option, like when I am recording the drive and something happens I want to save the last X (15-45sec) and have it as a clip separate from what I am already recording. I have also sent an email with more requests and features examples. thanks
5 ★I wish there was higher factor in timelapse speedup. Or lower fps option. Speed up of about 30 (1 fps) would allow to use it as 'day recorder' or 'patrol', as body cam. Its too fast to watch directly, but VLC can slow it down if needed. Enough to record most objects around you as walking person passes them. Important for checking if objects were in place in a particular day. Poor man's inventorisation at work. Idea is that lower fps would allow battery to survive the working day.
2 ★While I was using the free version, I gave this app five stars but I was very disappointed this morning to realise when I purchased the $20 version that I cannot even change the song that is playing, open my directions, or anything else that involves putting the app into the background without it stopping recording. Somewhat regretting the purchase now, I should have just stayed with the free version.
4 ★Great app for Dashcam usage. The ads are slightly annoying since you might end up hitting them by mistake while interacting with the app & its menu. Otherwise, it's a great app, comprehensive features giving you complete control of how you want your video to be recorded & the data which is to be shown with it.
3 ★This is an almost perfect dashcam app. I use "Professional Overlay" without any problem. Update, there is one problem: it forces you to update regularily. I do hate this, especially when I am glad with the actual version. There is no need or wish to update. Even worse, simetimes it looses its configuration completely.
5 ★Great app, using with my Galaxy note 10+. Paid the £32 for the ultimate version & well worth it. Works great with the dash cam app set to record in background mode which allows me to use my phone as normal. My only criticism is that when the dash cam app is running in the foreground so I can see what's recording whilst I'm driving, if I receive a call & answer it via my Bluetooth headset, I find the dash cam app stops recording & turns off.
1 ★Now even worse! Repeatedly crashes. Uploads do not happen and causes phone to overheat and memory to fill as rarely uploads as promised. Before- Really difficult to get app to load recordings in the location selected. Just keeps jamming up with no upload possible despite app being used as directed...bizarrely sad as good screens etc just bad, bad backup!
5 ★Very good app, I use it daily, I had problems when updating to a S20ultra but that was all down to the phones battery optimisations and face recognition taking over camera etc. All working fine now. Thanks for the great app EDIT. Latest update has a home screen, is there anyway to disable this please. To me Its one extra button to have to press everytime I drive!
4 ★great app, took me a few days of running out of space (would be good if it saved to the SD card, hence 4 stars) before 'splitting' 15 minutes over two recordings. Now upgrading to the full version. I would recommend this app. Now taking my old phone and using this as the camera dedicated to the app. Would drive without it!
5 ★Great app. But one issue.... how to stop beep sound whenever a video completes and new starts.??? Actually it stops playing song and caller voice for that durations. Which is really bad.. Please provide some solution. Else great app... Edit: autostart does not work. It work only for 1 minute.. plz help
