Aplikace Psychoid je určena především studentům na Katedře psychologie Filosofické fakulty Univerzity Palackého. Umí zobrazovat aktuální oznámení pro studenty, rozvrh hodin a kalendář akcí. Obsahuje jednoduchý popis, jak se dostat do učeben katedry. Umožňuje rychle odeslat katedře svůj komentář, názor či návrh.Jen tak pro zajímavost:
Jak vznikl název? Tu se sešli chytré hlavy a začal brainstorming. Nejlepším návrhem se zdál být Psychoman, který zněl docela dobře a zároveň vyjadřoval zkratku pro funkčnost aplikace – psychologický manažer. Ovšem co by to bylo za psychology, kdyby nepřišla otázka na genderovou korektnost. Psychowoman by byl vzhledem k počtu žen na katedře lepším názvem, ovšem problém to neřeší. A tak vznikl Psychoit (it = anglicky to). A protože to na papíře nevypadá dobře a obecnou psychologii jsme měli všichni, vzniklo finální Psychoid, které má smysl i zvuk, ale kdo jej nevymýšlel, tak jej nechápe, proto děkuji, pokud jste se dočetli až sem :)
