SaRuup helps in understanding Moorchana for students and those smitten by Indian Classical Music. In the eternal realm of Indian Classical Music, Moorchana is a tool used for exploration. It offers a unique way to experiment and explore any given raag or a chosen set of swars.Moorchana involves shifting to the base swar(note) Shadja (Sa), to another swar within a chosen group to create interesting aural possibilities.
This app calculates the Moorchana swars once the initial or Main swars and new Sa position is provided by the user. A minimum of 5 swars have to be selected on the Main scale to get the moorchana swars. A set of Tanpura's is provided if you want burst into a tune or two on the go.
This app is targeted for Android mobile device users.
