Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★Pretty good but needs fine tuning. 1) If you hit Browse in the menu and have a Location Filter set, the Equipment Category list displayed is unnecessarily cluttered by displaying Categories that contain 0 items at the selected location. Just show the categories where number of items is greater than zero. 2) When you drill into an asset and look at its Repair history the history is shown in chronological order starting with the oldest Completed. This list of defects can be very very long ! The list should start with Not Started Repairs (latest first) then show In Progress followed by Completed Repairs (again latest first). 3) When you select a location filter that selection should be retained when the app is shut down so that it is automatically re-applied the next time you start the app. Most users are interested in just their area not the state of the whole organisation which is the default start up mode. 4) When you drill down into the Equipment Category list to look at a specific category you are presented with a list of Kinds for that Category. Again this list is cluttered by displaying Kinds against which the number of Items is zero in the selected location. If there are no items of that Kind in the selected location then don't display that Kind in the list.
