Duyusal Akademi; Duyu Bütünleme Terapisi Uzmanı- Fizyoterapist, Eğitimci, Yazar ve Üsküdar Üniversitesi Öğretim Üyesi Ebru ALBAYRAK SİDAR tarafından kurulmuştur.Türkiye'de: Duyusal Akademi İstanbul, Ankara ve İngiltere'de Fit and Smart Kids London isimleri ile üç farklı şubede, uluslararası hizmet veren, alaninda ilk ve tek olma özelliğine sahip bir kliniktir.
Duyusal Akademi’de çocuklarımıza, İngilizce ve Türkçe destek verilmekte ve seanslarımız Amerika’da Sensory Integration Therapy (Duyu Bütünleme Terapisi) alanında başarısını ispatlamış olan farklı kurumlar tarafından desteklenmekte ve danışmanlık hizmeti verilmektedir.
Seanslar Ebru SİDAR önderliğinde, alanında uzman ve tecrübeli uzmanlardan oluşan ekibimiz tarafından, çocuğun ihtiyaç ve yetenekleri göz önünde bulundurularak uygulanmakta, eksik olan alanlardaki gelişimini sağlamak ve özel yeteneklerini belirlemek birincil hedef edinilerek sürdürülmektedir.
Duyusal Akademi; doğumdan 15 yaşına kadar olan dönemdeki tüm bebek ve çocuklar için eğlenceli oyun ve aktivitelerle, anne ve babalar ve yetişkinler içinse eğitim ve seminerlerle gelişim merkezidir.
Duyusal Akademi’de çocuklarımız; ergoterapist, fizyoterapist, pedagog, özel eğitim uzmanı, klinik psikolog, konuşma terapisti ve aile danışmanı gibi uzmanlar tarafından bir bütün olarak değerlendirilir ve ihtiyacı olan destek şekli belirlenir. Seanslarımız süresince meydana gelen bütün gelişimlerle birlikte, çocuğun yeni ihtiyaç modeline uygun şekilde, seanslar modifiye edilerek yeniden şekillendirilir.
