3 ★App is great when it works but sometimes it takes a long time to connect to my charging equipment I will have to exit the app and go back in and even then it will connect say my psychrometer and like one pressure gauge then disconnect and connect to something else after a couple minutes then everything connects and I don't dare leave the app because then it has to connect again which is a pain since my company uses a different app for entering in my finding I have a Google pixel 3 XL
1 ★useless this app refuses to let you do anything without registering or signing in......i dont have any need to register and be tracked......you can blow me ive been a long time user of their none digital freon tools and a long time user of their amp meters. i just just starting to think about an investment in some digital guages but after reading the reviews screw that
5 ★Pretty well laid out, it doesn't notify you if the system is stabilized, nor does it give notifications of common problems like the I manifold system, but I have had no issues using this app. I have the free version of this software without the business management features that are also in this app
1 ★Connection issues like crazy. Honestly I should have went with Testo equipment. Paid top price for sman480 and all the wireless probes and trinkets. Very upsetting. Even after tech department got it so it would connect to my Galaxy S9, it constantly connects and disconnects.
1 ★App is pretty neat when just looked at for data. Have a competitors brand also, work provided the psychrometers to everyone for our new testing layout. The advertised distance on thses tools is aboit double their real world line of sight operational distance. The app would be good if it didnt have fake troubles connecting tonyour gear if you dont allow it on wifi or location. What the app needs to do does not require the information it makes mandatory. I would not recommend the app.
1 ★i like the look of the app since the update, and adding the calculated delta in there was a good idea, but whoever decided it was a good idea to move the target superheat and target supply temp away from the actual temps is an idiot! so whoever at fieldpiece is reading this, please find that person and kick them squarely in the crotch for me please For some reason now I can't get my target exiting evap temp or target supply temp to display anymore. It appears I've updated and now it's gone! Fix!
5 ★I feel that most reviewers on here truly don't know what they are doing in this field. When used correctly this app and probe kit can be one hell of a tool. But I find more often than not in this field that the "techs" who get frustrated with the tools don't really know what they are doing in HVAC.
1 ★I spend 30-40 minutes trying to get the probes to sync with the app. This has been going on since I bought them almost 2 years ago; and 3 different phones. I completely regret buying these. Someone should make them with readout display on them.
2 ★Sometimes it just stays on a loop with the fieldpiece logo. I have to close it and open it many times to try to get the app to open. Very annoying. When it works is great.
5 ★Good tool. The app works well and the readings are easy to view and update in real time. Good job Fieldpiece. I look forward to seeing the updates. I have the SM480v, but I plan on getting the wireless temp probes as well.
4 ★***update TURN YOUR LOCATION ON BEFORE OPENING THE APP***** I just bought the JK3KH6 to make this go easy this summer after 2 hours the equipment is not detected through the app. I cant help but feel I wasted $500. This app is kinda goofy too :/
