2 ★I used to love the Zenni app, but the latest upgrade really sucks! With Virtual Try-On, they removed the models that you could see the glasses on. I liked that feature because the Try-On never worked with my own photo. The glasses were always tiny on me, so I liked the option of seeing the glasses on the models. The app seems too scaled down. I really don't like it at all anymore!
3 ★The interface of the app is not as good as it used to be (I also switched from iPhone to samsung so maybe I'm the problem) and in my opinion more difficult to use than the website. While looking at a pair of frames, I no longer get suggested options, and the review photos simply don't show up. The virtual try on is unclear on how to switch between photos. The options are there, just less accessible. HOWEVER, ordering is very simple, and many of the sorting features are helpful!
3 ★This app acts exactly as the webpage. I actually prefer the webpage because at least there it keeps me logfed in longer. Im constantly having to type out my info and resign in on this app. Even though i choose the option to "remember me". Also, if you select a pair of glasses to take a deeper look into it, if you're far enough down the list of options you have to reload and find where you were. You also take a risk losing your option filters. Pretty frustrating.
4 ★Amazing app and website. So many options to choose from. Greatly appreciate the "try on"option. This will be my second order of two pairs. Only issues I've experienced, 1. Not particularly fond of one pair of frames I received in the first order. Not sure the lenses can be put into a different frame? 2. Slightly weird adding a second pair with both orders. Doesn't particularly have an option to continue shopping. 3 Shipping makes you wonder if the order was placed, then they arrive.
5 ★I have been a fan of Zenni optical since 2011. The lenses are always exacting to Rx. The frame selection range of styles is excellent. The few times I've ever had to reach out to customer service they provided prompt friendly service and there has never been a problem that wasn't corrected. I can vouch for their single vision lenses and their bifocal lenses, which are excellent. They also always include a hard case for your new glasses, which not all eyeglass sellers do (in my experience).
2 ★Wish they'd add the option to "sort by" like on their website. It's also hard to change the selected lens that's already in your cart, forcing you to go back and re-do your whole order. It would also be nice if they had more 3rd party discount options like student beans instead of ID.me. Overall, it needs a few improvements to make shopping more convenient and it might be better just ordering off of the website instead of the app.
4 ★I use Zenni to purchase my prescription glasses every year. If I am really lacking in funds but still need a pair, this is the only place I can get one for only about $35 total (including the lenses + shipping). Customizations are quick, easy, and relatively cheap. I would give 5 stars, but the Virtual Try-On feature is currently a bit blurry and I hope that can be fixed soon!
4 ★All in all, I love the app, but... 1. The virtual try-on option does not work. 2. There should still be an option to see the glasses on a still shot of your face, in addition to the virtual try-on. 3. There should be an option to sort by bestsellers, price, etc. There is no "sort" option that I see. 4. In the "filter" section, you can filter by price which is great, but it only lets you go down to $15. I'd like the option to take it down to $7 to be able to see just the $6.95 frames.
4 ★Great prices. I only order glasses from Zenni, and have been happy every time except once. It's great. One drawback - the new app does not allow me to filter for men/women/genderless styles, so, annoyingly, I have to scroll through a lot of frames designed for women. It would be nice to be able to look just at men's frames on the new version of the app. I mean, sometimes woke is just broke, you know what I mean? No offense. I just don't want my filters to be in-your-face politicized.
4 ★the app is slow but not as slow as the site. a bit of navigation issues. this is the second time I ordered from Zenni and the price is great and I have been happy with my previous purchase so have come back. I got two pair of bifocals with 3 pairs (2 each) of clip-ons for what it would have cost me for one pair without clip-ons at multiple brick and mortar stores
5 ★Love this app too much to complain, though I did at first. Actually, it's really great. It crashes rarely. It says "sorry, there's been an unknown error." My phone is old, so it can't keep up I think. I didn't see a way to shop by brand. I like Fonex. I'd like to search by certain dimensions in a certain style. I'd like a "buy now" feature to bypass glasses in cart to buy 1 pair newly created. It doesn't NEED work. This has already revolutionized eyewear sales. Amazing. I really love it too much
3 ★I was introduced to the app by my sister & pleasantly surprised by the cost for my new glasses, the only downside is the time it takes to receive your order. We are all so accustomed to AMAZON PRIME (overnight & 2 day max delivery) waiting weeks feels like forever. The ease of options, viewing frames live on your face and ordering was excellent. I highly recommend this site for ordering glasses. It will save you hundreds of dollars.
