Eshâb-ı kirâmın herbirinin ismini hürmetle, saygı ile söylemelidir. Birinin adı söylenince “radıyallahü anh= Allah ondan râzı olsun” denir. İkisi için “radıyallahü anhümâ= Allahü teâlâ o ikisinden râzı olsun” Birkaçı veya hepsi söylenince “rıdvânullahi teâlâ aleyhim ecmaîn” veya kısaca “radıyallahü anhüm= Allah onların hepsinden râzı olsun” denir
