Hoot for School is a Scrabble word study tool for family and school use. Searches in Hoot for School enable students to study useful lists of words for casual and club play. The predefined lists in Hoot for School are specifically designed for beginning Scrabble players.Hoot for School uses the NASPA School Word List (NSWL), a lexicon specifically designed for school use. NSWL includes words from the NASPA Word List, but omits words considered vulgar or offensive. NSWL is comparable with the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary (OSPD), a dictionary designed for family use.Hoot for School contains the NSWL word list for school and family competition. It can also be used for family friendly games.
