Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★This app is very annoying for me. It seems like every other screen I move to, it asks if I want to pay for it or start a free trial. I'm uninstalling because that's how often I'm prompted. Sorry but a period tracker app isn't worth paying for. I'll go back to the old school way of tracking my period on a physical calendar before paying for an app
2 ★Look I love this app. I have been using it for almost 10 years now but I'm tired of being asked multiple times to subscribe, every time I just want to log something about my cycle. I used Clue Plus a few years ago when it was first introduced and was much cheaper. I can't afford it now and would love to not have the pop up asking me to subscribe appear every time I try to hit 'save' while tracking. It's become very annoying...
2 ★Used to be my favorite app. It was simple and easy to use and free. Right after you tracked it would show you some readings/articles related to your symptoms which was nice to have snd kept me knowledgeable. Now every time I track I get pop ups for their paid subscription or am shown interesting features which only exist if I paid. They only care about paid users and subscriptions. They only want money.
3 ★App keeps crashing with new update. I can't track anything because I keep getting an error message. Also, I'm frustrated with the pop-ups after each save, like other people mentioned. I think they need to go back to the old format or figure out how to keep things simple with the new versions. This version is not as intuitive.
1 ★Have used this app since 2015 for its once-free customization and analysis features, and gender neutral language and appearance. I've recommended it to countless friends in the past but won't be again after seeing the way the app has changed. Disappointed to see everything that made this app really shine has now been shoved behind an absurd subscription paywall, and disgusted the gender neutral bubble has been burst by constant banner ads and popups about pregnancy and conception modes. Useless
2 ★I have to edit this review because I don't see an option to reply to the response I received. I am not able to recover a password because I didn't create an account with an email & password. The account was just created through my FB so therefore I am not able to recover my history on the app because it's now all of a sudden not compatible with FB anymore. Hope this makes sense.
1 ★I've used the free version for several years and it has suited my needs. I'm currently trying to purchase the paid version and I can't! It won't let me. It keeps taking me back to my password. I've reset my password and used on the web page but the app won't acknowledge any of this. I'm frustrated. I don't want to fight to PAY for a service.
1 ★Edit: Uninstalled. It's too irritating to use. With everything laid out, you have to scroll and swipe until you find what you want. You can't see the stuff you're logging in the analysis other than period length and bleeding, which defeats the entire purpose of tracking any issues. The whole thing is a mess and it's only gotten worse with each "improvement." Paying for the premium version felt like such a waste because shortly after everything I liked about the app was dropped.
4 ★They've been working on app updates, so right now I feel like this is only very useful for straight tracking your period. I used to use it to track a whole slew of other monthly issues/ symptoms, but there doesn't seem to be a way in Analysis to view the occurrence of these other symptoms during my cycle anymore. I hope they bring that feature back with an update soon.
3 ★I really love that the company is female owned and does not sell your data. It works well for it's purpose. The notification on the home screen about the conception guide has no option to close it and it is very annoying. I'm not trying to get pregnant, and I don't want to see information about pregnancy. There needs to be an option to turn this off or dismiss the notification. I'm editing my review down to three stars because of this.
2 ★The latest redesign has been TERRIBLE. It makes the app barely worth using. They added about half a dozen more keystrokes to track anything, and on top of that, there is a confusing difference between "tracking" and "saving" so even after all that extra effort, you can lose all the data you put in. What in the world were they thinking? Did no one test it?
3 ★They've been slowly making the app more usable after the last update. I've been using clue for years now and was always happy with the gender neutral, easy to use interface. Being able to choose what you track is great. It's still kinda laggy when scrolling through the calendar, but you no longer have to click track after adding each new item. I really don't see what they were trying to do by implementing this new interface, because they seem to be returning the app to how it functioned before.
