NEW: View customer's conversation history in the customer profile. Available on desktop and mobile.
* When speaking to a customer, you can see previous conversations directly from the customer profile.
* On desktop, find conversation history on the right hand panel of Inbox. On mobile, click on the customer name and scroll down to see conversation history.

How to install Shopify Inbox APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download Shopify Inbox APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

  • Go to your phone Settings page
  • Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
  • Check the Unknown Sources box
  • Confirm with OK

2 ★Great app and I would have given it 5 stars but we spend most of our time chatting to Shopify "Experts" wasting our time. It's getting frustrating and we are considering to delete this app if it continues.
4 ★It is a good app that allows you to reply to your customers via phone. I didn't have any issues. However, I have two suggestions that would help users a lot: 1. Please allow to copy messages from the customers in order to be able to translate them if it was written in a foreign language or for similar purposes. 2. It would be great if the app is integrated into Shopify Control Panel for a desktop use.
1 ★Very disappointed with this app! Its functionality doesn't work therefore restricting me from providing a quick response to my customers and not letting me provide good customer service. Everytime a customer sends me a message I receive the message but am unable to reply as when I open the app it just comes up blank and nothing happens. I've tried to reinstall the app to no avail of working. I've finally uninstalled and will look for something else that works.
2 ★Double checked all notifications are on and I don't get anything, people send messages or chats and nothing is there. It's so frustrating!
1 ★This app is legit so bad, can't type more than a sentence without the entire thing stuttering and lagging out. Sometimes randomly won't open, feels poorly made especially coming from Shopify
1 ★Useless for anything more than 2 sentence replies. As soon as you type more than about two sentences of words then the app becomes so laggy and glitchy that it can take upwards of 5-10 full seconds for each letter you type to show up and is just completely impossible to write even a word or two at that point. So many reviews pointing out these issues for months and yet still not fixed! Makes it impossible to communicate with our customers in a timely manner.
5 ★Cannot receive notifications on android so I don't know when someone even messages me! I have an Samsung S21 Ultra which is still a really good phone. Tried notification settings and the app doesn't even appear there with the rest of my apps. EDIT: update fixed it. Thank you. Would now rate this 5 stars as I don't see any further issues and all works well!
5 ★So originally I had a problem with this app and I gave it a 1 Star review as I could not install it on my Android phone. However in a couple of days I was contacted by technical help and after a few emails back and forth they pinpoint of the issue was that my phone was not on automatic time and date and once this was done I've now been able to reply quickly to customer questions on the fly. Love the ease of this app so I'm giving it 5 stars
2 ★Poor customizability. Makes a lot of decisions for you and doesn't allow you to edit. Like not allowing to remove or customize the order status auto messaging and also requiring the customer to provide a phone instead of email. Thankfully the last part was changed due to legal requirements (not because Shopify made the app more configurable)
1 ★Constantly glitching and freezing. It's impossible to reply to customer messages in a timely manner. Forever having to close the app and start again. Also incredibly laggy. Often get notifications 3-5 minutes after the customer has clicked send. Not instant at all. Makes no difference being on WiFi or data.
5 ★Hey there There was an issue with this app where there was regular crashing, since the update I haven't been experiencing any more issues. This app does make it easier to communicate with customers and send them quick discounts etc. If I could make a request: make a desktop version aswell? Perhaps something similar to how telegram or whatsapp does their in browser display.
3 ★Update 2023: The team has fixed several issues over the past few years but there's still plenty of bugs. Orders tagged in the customer profile don't work. The links are broken. Please fix!
