La asociación Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run nace en 2011 y tiene como objetivo principal la promoción de Gran Canaria como destino de cicloturismo, triatlón y running, representando a las principales empresas del sector en la isla.Esta asociación cuenta, entre sus asociados, con siete empresas organizadoras de eventos de cicloturismo, triatlón y running, con la Federación Canaria de Ciclismo y además cuenta con cinco empresas del sector alojamiento.
Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run persigue unificar y ordenar la oferta existente, logrando crear una imagen única, capaz de promocionar de manera óptima Gran Canaria, atendiendo a las tres disciplinas deportivas, cicloturismo, triatlón y running, de acuerdo con la línea estratégica fijada por el Patronato de Turismo de Gran Canaria.
En este sentido, uno de nuestros objetivos consiste en posicionar la isla de Gran Canaria como destino deportivo, y con esta finalidad nuestra asociación Gran Canaria Tri, Bike & Run realiza acciones de promoción y comercialización, fundamentalmente de servicios, que permiten colocar a Gran Canaria como un destino de referencia para la práctica de cicloturismo, triatlón y running, tanto a nivel local como en los principales mercados emisores y definidos como prioritarios.
