Description
The APL Tech Toolbox app is designed to keep pork producers and stakeholders up to date with Australian Pork Limited research summaries, best management practice and news for the Australian pork industry.Research summaries (called Snapshots) contain a brief summary of research results. Users can comment on the Snapshots, and ask questions of experts and one another in a familiar social environment.
Snapshots are divided into 6 main categories:
1. Marketing development
2. Genetics reproduction and welfare
3. Nutrition health and physiology
4. Industry capability and technology transfer
5. Environment management
6. Food safety, biosecurity and quality assurance
Users can browse Best Management Practice to links to important industry publications, and view news and information on upcoming events relating to the industry.
Users can log in using their existing APL Portal Login, and new users can register within the app. Once logged in, users can join the discussions under each Snapshot.
