Description
Introducing the Guardian™ Connect continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. The Guardian™ Connect system uses a tiny sensor to measure your interstitial glucose level, which is the glucose found in the fluid between the cells just below your skin, every 5 minutes. It takes readings all day and night and sends them to your phone via a small wireless transmitter, so you can see how you're doing anytime.The Guardian™ Connect mobile app functions as the primary display of glucose data, showcasing up to 288 readings per day. You can see your most recent sensor glucose data and glucose trends over time. You can also receive alerts to notify you when you're going above or below your preferred range and keep track of daily events which may impact your glucose levels.
Your mobile app also sends your data to CareLink™ Personal diabetes management software, so you can see your full information online and share your information with family or friends. Those closest to you can even receive text messages whenever you go out of range.
To use the Guardian™ Connect system, you will need the Guardian™ Connect transmitter and Guardian™ Sensor 3, as well as this app. To learn more or purchase the Guardian™ Connect system, visit medtronicdiabetes.com.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This app will only work with Guardian™ Connect transmitter, which was specifically designed to communicate with your device via Bluetooth. This transmitter has the letters "GC" on the front. It will not connect to other Medtronic CGM transmitters, including the MiniLink and Guardian™ Link 3 transmitters.
The Guardian™ Connect system requires a prescription and is indicated for continuous or periodic monitoring of glucose levels in the interstitial fluid under the skin, in patients (14 to 75 years of age) with diabetes mellitus. Because they either are holding phone brands hostage to pay them to make it compatible for their brand, or they have no idea how to build an app. dont let them lie, This app does not need phone brand specific hardware compatibility. Devs build apps for android and it works across all Androids Bluetooth and does not matter what brand phone you got as long as it works on the version of Android you have
1 ★Just received my gcm, excited to get it put on today, just to find out the app isn't compatible with my phone, and this is the only gcm my insurance covers. Awesome 🤬🤬🤬

1 ★Got message that I had an "Unsupported Android Device" No other details for what devices are supported. My phone is not that old.
1 ★Android has an update to Andriod 14 now the app is no longer supported. Not good not good at all. And it looks like it could be months? Still waiting for some kind of feedback on when or if you will update the application to work with Android 14. Right now, I just watch the funds my insurance is paying, going down the drain, and me having to return to poking myself 3 or 4 times day. So I guess we have noticed they stopped responding to all negative remarks. The money waisted on the sensors.
1 ★After an emergency and not being able to use my pump. I have been looking for other ways to connect my cgm to see where I am but I have a samsung galaxy ultra 22 and this app is not supported by my current phone and update. This stinks
1 ★Had a new update on my phone. Message pops up, Unsupported Android version.
1 ★Can not use this app on my phone (Motorolla), so actually have the CGM and no way to use it. I was told that it would come with its own monitor which was a lie. And, I have already been on the website to request for my phones manufacturer to be put on the list. It is appalling how few non Apple/Samsung phones are on the list, and LG is on the list and they don't even make phones anymore. I would give 0 stars but the review won't let me.
