Currently, users must connect their phone to the camera's Wi-Fi to link the two devices. This is a core part of the camera's functionality as it allows users to remotely preview and control the camera, and download footage from the camera to the phone. However, the camera's Wi-Fi is a local network that does not provide internet access, meaning most users cannot access the internet once they are connected to the camera. This setup causes a lot of inconvenience, for example, in scenarios like live streaming, where users need to frequently disconnect and reconnect the camera to perform app authorization and other tasks. To address this issue, we use VpnService to route specific requests to the cellular network, preventing users from having to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect the camera.

2 ★Switched from a gopro to the ace pro2 due to horrible battery life; however on the the gopro app has is the ability turn on and monitor the camera from the app. This doesn't have that ability and it's a big issue.
2 ★Confusing processes. Trying to connect the device (connected by USB and "device found") isn't easy, takes several attempts. "Download" or "export" clips... I just want them on my phone 🤣

1 ★The app deliberately change the foto angle (they call is "horizon lock") and it can't be disabled. The support is also useless, they just asked three times what your cam model is and then provide no answer.
2 ★Do not open app unless on wifi. I had to clear the cache which caused me to log in again. After logging in, not doing anything else, I get an alert that i have a spike in data usage. 190mb just to log in and load the app! Ridiculous! The app is good for editing but not much else. But just cost me $2 on my bill just to log in. Get rid of all the bloat or make an option to not load previews/videos/ads unless on wifi! And don't download firmware updates unless on wifi!
5 ★Fun to use and edit. 8K, 5.7K videos very sharp.
2 ★After the 2/11/25 update the app has gone downhill quick. Continuous crashing and disconnectimg from the camera while trying to edit videos. Insta360 fix whats broken before adding new features. Take us back to prior 2/11/25 update at least i could get videos off the camera
