1 ★This is one of the worst apps I have ever used and instantly made me regret buying this camera. As soon as you open the app you are dumped on the product page... I already bought the camera, why are you trying to sell me another one? The app is rarely able to connect to my camera and is much more focused on building their library of content than it is on usability or user experience. This what happens when the marketing department guides app development. Overall, a horrible experience.
1 ★The Insta 360 Go is NOT android compatible. Their own customer support confirmed to me that their most recent firmware update for the camera rendered it unable to connect to the phone via charging case. This means that you cannot view your album, download the media to phone, nor utilize any of their editing software. Stay away from this.
5 ★Works well, no connection problems, great for viewing photos and videos on. It is a great alternative to buying a Bluetooth remote as you can use your phone as the remote trigger. Overall, it is a solid and reliable app! Well recommended.
1 ★Very Bad Experience. Can't even connect to the camera with bluetooth. Fix the Bluetooth Issue. Would've given 0 stars if it was possible.
1 ★Can't connect properly. Things don't upload. Will you guys be doing an update? I paid over $300 for this Instago gadget. The least we can expect is that the app works properly. Please fix the issues with this app.
5 ★Working with the app is fun. Would really be great if you could access old footage via your photos or a computer so you can clear out room on your phone for new footage but still have the ability to go back and play with old footage when needed.
1 ★Tried this app on 3 different phones and a tablet and it was incompatible with all before finally getting it to work on a borrowed phone. Emailed the developer and the email bounced back as the address doesn't exist. Camera returned for a full refund
4 ★The 1.3.1 update (available via the Insta360 website) fixes the crashes I was having with the stories function. There are still some rough edges, such as some untranslated text (music selection page) but the app is at least now more usable.
