• Grimacing or frowning face, with a pained expression;
• Red, flushed face;
• Clenched fists;
• Excessive gas (flatulence);
• Knees drawn up to chest;
• Baby looks like s/he is in pain;
• Often worse in the afternoon or evening (but can happen at any time).
