La Asociación Española de Mantenimiento (AEM) nació en 1977 con el objeto de fomentar el Conocimiento del Mantenimiento Industrial y de Edificios en nuestro País, siendo el fundamento de su creación. AEM es una Organización sin ánimo de lucro, y tiene el objetivo claro de ser el Órgano de difusión del Mantenimiento, dar transversalidad al mismo y representar al colectivo de Empresas y Profesionales de Mantenimiento ante la Administración y los Organismos internacionales que engloban a las Asociaciones de Mantenimiento de los diferentes países; hoy básicamente la EFNMS (Federación Europea de Asociaciones de Mantenimiento) y a la FIM (Federación Iberoamericana del Mantenimiento) a las que pertenecemos y que, en el caso de la FIM, fuimos los impulsores de su creación.Han pasado más de 40 años desde entones y estamos muy orgullosos de la trayectoria y objetivos alcanzados y más ahora cuando hemos sobrepasado “la cuarentena” totalmente activos, ilusionados y con grandes proyectos ante nosotros. Nuestra misión es fomentar el Mantenimiento y nuestra visión llevarlo a cabo a través del conocimiento.
