/* AutoHz doesn't support Android 12 at the moment! */
AutoHz lets you control how and when your OnePlus and Galaxy S20 device switches to 60 Hz or 90/120 Hz.
While the high refresh rate screen is awesome to look at, it sometimes unwantedly goes back to 60 Hz. Some people have found a way to force the display to run at maximum refresh rate at all times, but this comes with a significant power penalty as much as 25%(100~200mW).
Using the "Auto" mode will keep the system's default behavior. But you can use AutoHz to force certain mode on select apps.
This way, you can still get the benefits of saving power from unintensive apps such as video players or games.
Upon the initial setup, AutoHz will apply some recommended configurations to enable high refresh rate on several apps, such as Chrome and other browsers.
* AutoHz requires a one-time setup through a computer using ADB. Please read https://github.com/arter97/AutoHzPerm for instructions * AutoHz uses the Accessibility Service API from Android to detect which apps are in use. Accessibility Service permission will be granted automatically once the one-time setup has been done. * AutoHz only works on devices running unmodified OS. * AutoHz supports all OnePlus devices with 90 or 120 Hz display panel. * AutoHz doesn't support ColorOS and Android 12 at the moment. * AutoHz supports Galaxy S20 series devices. * All other devices are unsupported at the moment.
** If you made a mistake of purchasing on an unsupported device, please contact me instead of leaving a review, so that I can provide a refund. **
* AutoHz is previously known as Auto90.

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Does what it says. The only problem I've seen so far though is that be default Google Maps is set to 90hz. I've found that if you force it to this it will run at 90 fine, but if I go back to home screen then whole UI seems to run slower. Have switched to auto. All other apps work with this great though, so looks like maps is at fault here.
5 ★Does exactly what it says it does. Auto90's functionality honestly should be a default feature of OOS, but at least we have devs like Ju who can help fill in missing features like manual refresh rate control. Ju is very responsive via email, and was even nice enough to send me an email when he added Android 10 support. Developers like this are well worth supporting.
5 ★***WOW*** What a great idea to address yet another area where things 'done for us' with the user having no control ... As in no nuanced way to really affect the refresh rate - other than a hard fisted stop at 60Hz. Not why I popped down almost $800 on this phone. I got this for one main reason; I had to have a high refresh screen. And I haven't been using it this entire time. Thank you so much this is as awesome as I knew it would be when we spoke via email several months ago. ❤️ this app
1 ★Using the Oneplus 7t. As another reviewer has said, the screen says only "license check failed" when the setup is done. I've tried restarting the device, uninstalling, and redoing the setup with none of these working. I emailed the developer and got no reply. Disfunctional for some devices, bad customer support. Waited too long for the reply so now I can't even refund.
4 ★EDIT 2: another bug noticed. Restarting the phone will cause apps to revert to the original screen refresh settings; for example, upon reboot Chrome will run at 60 Hz even if the Auto90 app is locked in the background. One has to manually open the Auto90 app everytime after rebooting the phone to ensure the requisite apps run at desired refresh rates. Also, occasionally, system settings revert to 60 Hz as default. This doesnt happen often anymore, but its not uncommon.
5 ★In the hope that you'll find a fix. Using it on my OnePlus 8 Pro. Works like a charm except for when I play an HDR video on YouTube and go back to the homescreen and let the video play in pip mode. After doing that a couple of times the apss 120Hz setting no longer sticks and YouTube returns to 60fps even after restarting the app. Restarting my phone solves it.
5 ★This app helps so much with my oneplus device. I would suggest adding a button which turns every app to auto/60hz/120hz
4 ★i have installed this app on my 7 pro device..in settings->display i have selected as 60Hz and in Auto90 app when i try to select 90 for browser and use the browser for some scroll operations then display settings are moved to 90 now. i think Auto90 should only switch 90 when i use browser right? when i exit from browser then it should switch back to 60 which i set in settings. can you tel if am missing something here.
5 ★It works great!!! I was a bit sceptic at the beginning but it worth every penny. Browsing feels so much smoother on 90hz instead of 60 and the games.... Damn, it's a super program. The guide is totally good too on github. Guys, 5/5. Perfect. ~Using Oneplus 7T Pro~
5 ★Just used on my 8t to enable 120hz in Samsung Internet and Firefox browsers. Works perfectly, easy to accomplish using instructions on github
5 ★The app it's not showing all of my installed apps. It shows only 4 or 5 apps from my 100 apps installed. Using Oneplus 8 Pro with Android 11 DP4. Hope it will work ok when stable version will be released. Edit: updated and now everything is working perfect! Worth the money paid for it!
5 ★Stops working after reboot. Need to restart app. From time to time stops working at all, even relaunching app doesn't help. Only rebooting the device sorts it out. I excluded the app from battery saving routines, still no change. OnePlus 7 Pro OOS 10.0.2. Upd. Fixed.
