Description
The Precitec ProCutter 2.0 App is used to visualize the state of the laser head during operation, to query error messages and to set the customer offset. Optionally, the app can also be used to parameterize some limit values. The app connects to the laser head via WLAN and displays the sensor values in different windows: Ambient, pressure, optics, error, IO and system.
- Ambient: Shows the sensor values for the four temperature sensors and the
humidity sensor.
- Pressure: Shows cutting gas pressure and leakage process protection glass
- Optics: Depending on the laser head type:
o Standard: focus positions, customer offset, scattered light, protective
glass contamination (upper and lower protective glass), power level (switchable for
PC 15KW)
o ZOOM: protective glass contamination (only lower), image ratio instead
of power level
- Fehler: Displays active error messages. Empty if no error is present.
- IO: Shows the IO interface with analog voltages, currents and signals
(particularly suitable for commissioning in order to be able to view static data.)
- System:
o Cutting head: Product key, serial number, firmware version, revision number
o Motor controller: firmware version and configuration
o Miscellaneous: activated modules and XML version
The access to the app is done in two steps. The WLAN connection is established by means of a password (see type plate on the cutting head).
The next step is to select the access level, either USER or OEM. An extra password is required for the OEM mode. Depending on the access level or if the BUS connection of the cutting head is active, the rights are restricted (see table).

Via the sidebar menu (right wipe or hamburger icon) additional settings and functions can be called.
- Plotter function selected sensor values can be recorded
graphically
- LogFile record: Records all sensor values and stores them in a csv file in the
memory of the device (storage location: internal memory/Precitec/). After
finishing the recording the name of the file can be changed.
- General settings:
o Change OEM password: After changing the password, a new login needs to
be performed (only visible in OEM mode).
o Change WLAN channel: After the change, the cutting head must be restarted.
- Ambient parameters: Changing limit values for temperature and humidity
sensors.
- Pressure parameters: Changing cutting gas and leakage pressure limits
- Optical parameters:
o Change limit values of scattered light sensors.
o Adjustment of customer offset and scattered light amplification
USER - Limit values ≤ OEM - Limit values ≤ max. Limits. If the OEM limit values are reduced, the USER limit values are also reduced.
If the BUS connection is active, the app only serves as a display, no limit values can be changed (the customer offset is the only changeable parameter). Changes via the BUS connection become visible after pressing the button.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
