5 ★This is the only system I could find that supplies local temperature and humidity readings to a phone without an ongoing subscription fee. It also offers automatic alerts for conditions that the user can set up. The application is simple to set up and use, and gives latest readings and a nice selection of graphs of the recent past instantly upon opening. The worst thing I can say about this application is that it gives times only in the confusing am/pm system, with no option for the nice, simple 24-hour format of time. Apparently, one can also get similar readings from a Web browser, but I prefer this application. It works with the Temp Stick hardware. This hardware is also easy to set up, and requires no installation except that, because it is not weather-tight, if used outdoors it requires shelter from precipitation.

5 ★I've been using Temp Stick for a few years. I keep a sensor out in our well house during the winter to monitor temperature and humidity. Anytime the temperature drops below my set target I get an alert. When I'm away from home I can keep track just to make sure the well pipe isn't freezing. It also lets me know that the heating system in the well house is working.

3 ★Does not provide temperature reading in real-time. Measurement intervals are limited by App. Could be made better. Verify these features are acceptable to you before purchase.

5 ★Use it in Florida to monitor temperature when I am in Chicago. Works great. Also great customer service from Jake on a login issue.
