RIXA NFC Writer can be used as stand-alone app but information can also be shared from other apps into the RIXA NFC Writer. Thus, information can be written in 2 ways:
1) You enter the URI directly
2) You share the URL from another app into the RIXA NFC Writer app
NFC Tags can be read without any app.
