Matan Sanusiyah dikenal juga dengan nama Ummul barohin . di dalamnya dijelaskan mengenai asas tauhid Al asy'ariah yang perlu diketahui oleh muslim yang baru memulai studi Aqidah Islam.
Pembahasannya sangat sederhana dan ringkas berkaitan dengan matan ini Dar Al kutub al-islamiyah menerbitkan 3 buah kitab antara lain syarah as-sanusiyah yang berisi Hasiah Syekh Al-Bajuri atas Matan Syarah Ummul barohin yang ditulis oleh Syeikh Sanusi sendiri dan Hasiyah syarqowi 'ala Syarah Hud hudi Karya Syekh Abdullah Az syarqawi.
Keutamaan Kitab Sanusiyah adalah merupakan ilmu syara’ yang paling mulia, karena berhubungan dengan Allah dan Rasulnya serta yang bersangkut paut dengan itu semua.
