Description
امتدت أحداث الرواية على مدى أكثر من 15 عاما، حيث ذهب الأمان وحلت الحرب ثم رحلت الحرب وعاد الأمان من جديد. تدور القصة عن فتاة يتيمة الأبوين، تدعى رغد، حيث انتقلت للعيش في منزل عمها منذ أن كانت بعمر الثلاث سنوات، وهناك يلازمها ويرعاها ابن عمها المدعو وليد، ويتعلقان ببعضهما البعض منذ اللحظة التي تلعثمت بفمها الحروف، فخلطت حروف اسمه قائلة بذلك أنتَ لي، بدل أنتَ وليد. ولم تكن تدري أنها بتلك العبارة امتلكته حقا.هذا الحب شب بين طفلة وطفل، وبقي فيهما رغم البعد، وحين غدت الطفلة أنثى والطفل رجل، قست عليهما الظروف أكثر، فوليد سُجن لسنوات عديدة، وما إن يعود حتى يرى ابنة عمه رغد مخطوبة لأخيه سامر!!
في كل محطة من محطات حياة رغد ووليد كانا يفترقان، وما يلبثا إلى أن يعودا لبعضهما، ثم ينفصلان من جديد، إلا وأنهما في المحطة الأخيرة التقيا معاً وإلى الأبد.
