A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★The device is a great help, but the software on the app could be better. When you download and open do not press the skip button, wait for it to open. Here in the UK a page opens mentioning disclaimers, tap accept and then allow all requested permissions otherwise it won't work. Then create an account. Once done the device works flawlessly!
5 ★TBH I've just deleted a 1 star review, after the app crashed last week with 'network connection unavailable'. An email last evening via Amazon to the supplier and within 10 hours the problem has been resolved. As for the app, I've used it since October 19 and it has proved invaluable, easy to use and detailed in the data recorded, certainly my consultant regarded its ECG print out as relevant.
3 ★Phone complains it's malware and advices uninstalling, i'm using McAfee with all the latest updates, could be because it requires access to just about everything on the phone for it to work, "I mean everything" why it need's so many right's is a bit worrying!. App is very basic it shows you a read out of ecg and an unhelpful analysis of data. You cannot reach any of the site link's from the app, all hosted in China is my guess, bells start ringing with concerns about my data privacy. China? Hmmm
2 ★Does not work out of the box, disappointing support experience. The only suggestion the support team had was "clear the app cache", caused by "the limitations of the OnePlus 6T" which they repeatedly suugested. This had no effect on the issue. The issue was resolved by myself, and it turned out to be the battery optimization setting which once disabled allowed the app to function.
1 ★Now requires login! Ok, I understand that China definitely does not have GDPR, but with health information this is unacceptable. The previous versions already went quite far by not allowing BT to be connected without precise position access right. The app itself used to have ok operation and nice graphics (3 stars), but as a package with the device it was not worth much. Have tried it for some months now. It cannot say anything about type of rhythm anomaly, and if you run up the stairs then a slightly higher heart rate will trigger "Possible heart rhythm problem". Have tried the SnapECG simultaneously with a hospital grade mobile ECG machine, and they do not correlate much over a long time, either way. I do expect that we will see reasonably good personal ECG devices in the future though, but maybe not the two finger version that was "too good to be true".
1 ★Still no privacy policy, no web site (from store) and no disclaimer/licence agreement (just accept or refuse options options), but too many permissions.
1 ★Asks for GPS location and permission to make phone calls, won't work otherwise. Scam.
1 ★Does not work! Like the thousands (probably) of others I can't get the app to log on. It keeps telling me to check the network connection. It used to work, then it stopped; never to go again. Appalling manufacturer's disinterest
1 ★The app recently disappeared from Playstore, but reapeared today. However the new version doesn't work. It gets stuck with a reminder of the permissions it needs. It won't let you cancel and if you confirm, just takes you to the uninstall screen. It's an embarassment to the developers!
1 ★App worked for nearly a fortnight then there was an update and it hasn't worked since. Either tells me there is no network (which there is) or it wants to make phone calls which i won't allow and just hangs up. A complete waste of money which I will recover from the trader.
1 ★Closed up shop and gone away? App hangs, web site is gone. Looks like it's gone along with any use for this piece of hardware. Just checked Amazon and the device is no longer available for sale. I was able to uninstall the garbage app and found an archive site with working back versions of SnapECG for Android. Appears to have sucessfully gone back a couple of versions and is working again. No idea what is happening with my collected data though.
1 ★Crashes, uninstalled it and reinstalled. Now it doesn't record anything. Really poor! Don't waste your money, oh wait you already have because you buy the device then have to install app. It's really sad considering it is a tool one needs to help monitor their heart function. Aggravating!
