Connect PrintMedia ontwikkelt o.b.v. MultiMediaMarkers technologie betaalbare apps voor haar klanten. Met de Primm-App herkent een smartphone- of tabletcamera bepaalde objecten (’markers’), wanneer het object gescand wordt door de camera. Hierdoor wordt informatie toegevoegd aan uw drukwerk. Deze informatie ('content') bevindt zich in een database binnen de app en wordt gedisplayed in het scherm van het betreffende device; dit is een ’virtuele’ laag over wat je ziet.
Maar er gebeurt veel meer. Door het ‘tappen’ op de verschenen informatie kunt u de gebruiker direct naar uw webshop of webpagina leiden, u een mail laten sturen, naar Facebook leiden waar men uw bedrijf of product kan ‘liken’, laten bellen, bestanden (folder, brochure, productinformatie) downloaden, etcetera.
