Description

When navigating to a website known by it's name, say example.com, your device ask specific servers - DNS servers - how to address the website. DNS is an old protocol which, except for smaller changes, hasn't been touched since its creation in 1987. Naturally the Internet changed a lot in this time, rendering the protocol outdated in some of its core aspects.

This app tackles one of the bigger problems with DNS: Encryption.
Whilst nearly all traffic on the Internet is encrypted now, DNS requests (i.e. questions for a names address) and the response aren't. This enables attackers to intercept, read and modify your requests.

Nebulo is a DNS changer which implements DNS-over-HTTPs and DNS-over-TLS and DoH3 to safely send your DNS requests to the target server. This way only you and the DNS server are able to read the requests you are sending.

5 ★I use my fav fastest DNS server. Level 3 Servers make sure you add server name it Level 3 and IP 1 is 1.1.1.1 and iP 2 is 1.0.0.1 enjoy you are welcome! Make sure to enable DNS cache for faster browsing!

5 ★Only DNS changer I've found that has a non-VPN mode. Perfect when you want to use a VPN and have encrypted DNS at the same time. This is required when you're on a WiFi network where port 853 is blocked and Androids built in "Private DNS Mode (DNS over TCL)" doesn't work, you can use this with "DNS over HTTPS" instead, highly recommended!

5 ★Does what it says! Needs to be made more kid proof. I am using it on older Android tablets that don't have native DoT support in the OS. I'd like to see the Pin function to work when disconnect is hit. Also a blanket domain override rule to a different server needs to be added. Otherwise this is excellent.

5 ★I have sprint which is famous for data caps and DNS is the only thing that helps because in the long term WCDMA format broadband is ipv4 filtered in data caps and it won't matter what if you set 5g,4g,3g or even zero G on the iss because normal vpn loose effectiveness once ipv4 filtered.

5 ★This is a great app. very intuitive and lots of useful options. It does use a little more battery power but that's to be expected. Also I noticed on two different phones that it could fail to connect occasionally when it had been used for some days. Turning it off made the connection again. Clearing the app data and re-applying my settings seemed to fix it. If I notice this again, I'll do some checks to try and diagnose the problem.

5 ★After looking at the Intra privacy policy I decided to try and find another app that serves the same purpose. That's when I stumbled upon Nebulo and I haven't looked back. You can use both DoH and DoT and switch between them easily. The query log and advanced settings are a bonus. All around great app and I recommend it to all my friends.
