Description
Esta aplicación permite consultar información sobre las especies silvestres terrestres y marinas del archipiélago canario, registradas en el Banco de Datos de Biodiversidad de Canarias (BDBC). Cada especie dispone de una ficha donde se aglutinan toda la información conocida de cada una de ellas como son: taxonomía, endemicidad, imágenes, distribución insular, etc.También es posible consultar mapas de riqueza de grupos de especies por cuadrículas de 500 x 500 m, que se mostrarán en un directorio que el usuario podrá seleccionar y consultar.
Si eres usuario validado contribuye a la mejora del conocimiento de la biodiversidad de las islas registrando y sincronizando al Banco de Datos de Biodiversidad de Canarias imágenes y puntos de distribución de especies silvestres, con particular atención a las especies amenazadas, protegidas y exóticas. La información quedará asignada a un documento “referencia de experto”de forma automática con el nombre del usuario, título, y los datos de las especies que haya transferido para su posterior validación por el supervisor científico.
Esta aplicación dispone:

- Consulta de más de 21.000 especies terrestres y marinas de las Islas Canarias.
- Catálogo de mapas de riqueza de especies.
- Registro de especies en tiempo real o en diferido según la disponibilidad de cobertura.
- Exportación de los registros capturados (kmz, csv y al BDBC) utilizando los aplicativos de tu unidad móvil (correo electrónico, Dropbox, etc).
