Pertama kami mencoba membuka usaha dengan pola kerjasama di Cipanas kabupaten Cianjur dengan sistim kerjasama oleh H.Noersal Zainnudin dan rekan-rekan bersama dengan H.Safri Awih (Alm) sebagai pemilik lokasi. setelah berjalan dengan baik di cipanas kami coba mengembangkan usaha ini pada tahun 1981 ke Jakarta dan sekitarnya diantaranya :Jl Kramat Raya Jak-Pus, Ancol, Jl.Margonda Raya Depok, dan setelah berjalan dengan baik di Jakarta dan sekitarnya kami kembali membuka cabang di daerah Bandung dan sekitarnya, pertama Jl Asia Afrika, Jl Ir H Juanda (Dago), Jl Raya Cipacing (rancaekek), Jl Terusan Pasteur, dan setelah itu kami buka di Jl Raya Gadog Ciawi Bogor,
dan masih banyak lagi yang belum disebutkan di halaman ini dan yang paling baru di Jl MT Haryono kota Balikpapan (Kalimantan Timur).
Alhamdulillah berkat rahmat Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, usaha restoran kami berjalan dengan baik. Pada tahun 1990 banyak berdiri restoran-restoran Padang di areal Jakarta maupun di kota-kota besar lainnya dan berhubung pada tahun tersebut nama restoran Simpang Raya cukup dikenal masyarakat banyak diantara restoran tersebut yang meniru baik lambang maupun merek Simpang Raya, hal ini cukup mengkhawatirkan manajemen restoran Simpang Raya karena dapat berdampak pada citra perusahaan itu sendiri.
