The Original Echo Show.Now you can use your Android device as an extension of Alexa.
Create 4 separate timers each with their own identification, play the latest YouTube video from your favorite channel, bring up a network connected security camera, send messages to other devices running the app, and much more.
Even when the screen is turned off SideKick is waiting for commands. When a command is sent it will automatically wake up and display the information you requested.
Latest Features: Access the latest news without an Echo device, create routines, menu drop down for Getting Started with the Echo SideKick app.
Now you can get the latest news or YouTube video automatically. Setup a routine and select any time of the day along with any day of the week and the news or YouTube channel will automatically load and start playing at that time. Routines should not be used as an alarm clock but in conjunction with one.

This feature must be enabled in Settings, once enabled the SideKicks will automatically discover each other. To send audio to another SideKick hold the button down while speaking. Letting go of the button will automatically close the session. Two way communication has been enabled. While this feature has been tested exhaustively, older versions of Android can have problems with network discovery. Do you have multiple security cameras? Setup all your SideKick devices and then add all your cameras to one SideKick and sync it to the server. Your other SideKick devices will automatically update to add these cameras. If you later add another SideKick simply go to Settings and hit the Sync Cameras From Server button.
Security camera streams must adhere to Android supported video format. Please check with the manufacturer of your camera to see if your device offers any of these streaming features.

Required:
You must have an Echo device, the SideKick app for Android, and the SideKick skill enabled in the Alexa app. Once everything is setup just tell Alexa your command and which device to send it to. If you do not specify a device location it will default to the kitchen.
