Pulmonary nodules are common findings on chest CT. They can be discovered during low dose CT lung cancer screening or incidentally by diagnostic chest CT. This application helps triage the appropriate follow up or workup, using ACR LungRADS for screening and Fleischner criteria for incidental nodules.Software designed by a thoracic radiologist for health care professionals utilizing medical imaging, especially radiologists (or radiology residents) who interpret body imaging CT. Intended to be a quick, easily accessible resource for use in the radiology reading room or on-the go.
Lung Nodule features an easy to use interface which allows the user to quickly characterize a nodule by answering several questions, including size, density, and change. The recommendations for lung cancer screening detected nodules are based on ACR LungRADS guidelines. Lung Nodule also includes links to the ACR LungRADS documents and Fleischner incidental solid and subsolid nodule articles from radiology literature.
