Description
Reftools, is a small set of utilities, useful for referee's involved in Live Action Roleplay (LARP). These utilities are to only be used Out of Character, and this application should not be used while In-Character.Notes:
1) If LARP or Loresheets/Lorecodes mean nothing to you then this application, will only be useful as a multi timer stopwatch
2) We use you Google Account to Authenticate you as being allowed to use the application beyond the Timers. None of your details will be used for anything other than authentication.
Timers (Menu->Timers)
When refereeing a number of different events within the game you sometimes need the ability to time multiple things at once. The Timer utility allows you to time up to 8 separate activities at once (tap to Start/Stop, Swipe Left on stop to reset).
Functionality Requiring Authorization
Reftools also has a restricted Utility to show Loresheets and Lorecodes for Some LARP Events, to access these you will need to register your device ( Menu->Register). After Registering your device, it will need to be authorised by one of the lead referee's who will then determine which Loresheets/Lorecodes you have access to. A message will be sent to your device, and you can then Opt to download your allowed Lorecode/Loresheets set. ( Note Registering the device and downloading Lorecodes/Loresheets will require Internet access, and a 80KB download).
Loresheets (Menu->Loresheets)
You will be shown a list of loresheets and versions to choose from.
Lorecodes - Typed Loresheets (Menu->Type Code)
You may type in a set of codes from the Item you are examining in system, and if you have the correct loresheet it will show you additional information about the Item.
Barcode Scanning (Menu->Scan)
To utilise barcode scanning you will need to install the ZXing Barcode scanner project from the marketplace. If you do this then you may be able to scan the barcode on some items rather than typing in the lorecodes. Note if the Item has Expired you will be informed as such.
Settings
In settings you can change the theme and brightness level ( useful at night), and set what the devices hardware search button does.

How to install Reftools APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Reftools APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
