Calamity Control is an all-in-one portal that is ready to work at any given moment, at any given time.We are a group of 3 CS students who built this application as a part of the NIT Trichy Pragyan 2016 Hackathon, and we built it for one simple reason. We wanted to save people, as much as our laptops allow us to do it.
The application and website, in unison, helps by allowing you to report a calamity in your area and also mention it's severity. This, bundled with the amazing power of crowd sourced contribution, we're able to showcase the safest and most dangerous areas at any given time.
For those of you even *without internet connections*, we provide a gateway for you to call our service and initiate a report almost immediately. This could prove to be useful to many stranded in various data-less situations. Our web platform is much more feature rich, and yet, streamlined to work efficiently and quickly in the time of need.

Download Calamity Control APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
