Description

BusPGH is the perfect tool to help find PAT buses when you need them. The application interfaces with the Port Authority of Allegheny County’s Real-Time System to provide you the most up to date bus information.

To use the app simply

1. Choose up to 10 routes from list of available routes.
2. Choose up to 10 stops from list of available stops, or use the map to select stops.
3. View your predicted bus arrival time (within 30 minutes) or view all bus locations using the map view.

How to install BusPGH APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download BusPGH APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.buspgh.apps.app01-v2.0.20-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

2 ★problematic interface, unexplained need to access files

4 ★It is the time to update the app.

3 ★When I try to add a stop it says limited 10 even though I only have 6 choices and the times are sometimes wrong it'll say 7 minutes when the bus is pulling up to the stop and I also missed buses. I have to undownload it and redo it for it to work right again

1 ★I don't like it its confusing and I wasted so much time trying to figure out how to work it that I missed my bus......I give it a 0 but good try if it works for you that's great

2 ★First, the route sorting isn't correct. It's numeric by first number, not by full number. Second, when I select routes, and go back... there's nothing there. what am I supposed to do? Rather unintuitive that I then have to hit the maps button. The bus icons are terrible on the map. As a program icon it's fine, but it barely even looks like a bus, it's hard to tell which way it's facing, and frankly, it's ugly. The actual color selections are not helpful at all. If you select all 4 61 routes, for example, you can't tell at all which one is which color. I realise this is how PaT's tracker does it, but that doesn't make it useful. If you're going to have a set restriction on the number of routes anyway, just assign each of the 10 routes one of 10 arbitrary colors on the fly and have a color code in the map. I'm not a designer, so take that suggestion with a grain of salt, but that's how I'd prefer it. I don't like having to select a bus to see what route it is. Maybe that's just me, but that's way too many clicks just to see which buses/routes are near me. I have most of the same gripes with PAT Realtime Tracker, but at least they have a prettier interface

1 ★Is this for Android? I can't even get a list of routes to choose from...no menu options...nothing.

3 ★The bus tracker on the map tends to lag a good bit, and a lot of buses aren't registering on the map when they are in route. Please fix this.
