Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★This is ridiculously difficult to use. I use a Smasung S8+ and S3 Frontier Gear Watch. I love Samsung Health but it doesn't interface with this app and this app has no ability to directly sync with anything except fit it. I installed a middle ware app called Health Sync which gets the info from Samsung Health to Google Fit but then Google Fit can't transfer it to the WalkingWorks app. Shame.
2 ★Don't bother with the app. The mobile website works much better. Especially since the app doesn't sync properly with Google fit anyway. It doesn't show steps at all, it just shows minutes. Even after it appears to have synced your data as steps it will show up as minutes. Also, the total steps per week is actually the total steps you've taken since you started the contest. It also doesn't show the team totals correctly. This app should be a beta version with all the issues.
5 ★Great app !
2 ★While the app does list all the same activity choices as the web page, it lacks the choice of units of measurement for the activity. It only gives the option of choosing total steps. The web page allows the choice of steps, minutes or miles depending on the activity. This needs to be fixed.
1 ★Waste of space. It doesn't connect with trackers. No purpose to use this.
1 ★Would not let me select any unit other than minutes.
1 ★Doesn't sync with fitness trackers. Doesn't include weight lifting
5 ★Syncs with Google fit
1 ★Feeble at best - the updates are done on the desktop app and downloaded to the mobile app. Don't bother.
