WARNING: Alert Responder is not a replacement of emergency calls like 911. This is only a tool among others to help you keep in touch with people in case of emergency or any other situations.Send SMS magic sentence and get back a simple feedback: OK or HELP and optionaly the GPS location (latitude and longitude).

Alert Responder does not requires to be started in order to work. It is registered as an SMS receiver so Android system wakes up the application for incoming SMS messages.
The application disables the keylock when receiving an incoming magic sentence, then re-enables the keylock when the response is completed.
Note: Next release will include a preference to filter specific contacts allowed to request status ans location thus the permission required for the Android application to read contacts informations...

Download Alert Responder APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
