-Tips for Use-
■ How to Read News from Your Own Country/Region■
By default, the region setting of your "News" tab is taken from the language and region settings of your device. For example, if your device’s language is set to “English (United States),” then news from the U.S. will be displayed. If you are unable to read news from the region you are staying in, you can use the method below to change the region setting.
* Please note this resets the app to its initial state, deleting all feeds and bookmarks which have been registered.
1. Go to "Apps & notifications > News Suite > Storage & Cache" in your phone settings and select "Clear Storage".
* This will delete feeds and bookmarks which have been registered.
2. Restart News Suite
3. Select the link for "Terms of service" from the starting screen
4. Choose the region you stay in under "Select your language/region"
■ Setting Up Push Notifications ■
Users can receive periodic updates via push notifications with "Scheduled News," as well as push notifications for important news articles with "Additional feeds and other info of interest"
You can turn notifications on or off, and set timings, by selecting "Settings," followed by "Notifications," from the upper right menu.
■ For Xperia Users Wishing to Uninstall the App ■
If you wish to uninstall the app from your Xperia device, you may or may not be able to do so depending on your device's model. In such cases, you can go to "Settings," followed by "Apps," and then select "Disable."

2 ★The UI is just too clutter and complicated. The tabs on the top makes no sense, especially when sony phones are "taller" than most of other phone. To many buttons and menus.. you don't even know where to start.
1 ★This app use to be fantastic. Now it's so flooded with advertising that half the screen is covered or some ads don't load properly. It even overloads itself and ads make it stop working and the app closes. Poor form from developers here. Definitely needs to be fixed.
1 ★If you only read the Independent, Guardian, Evening Standard, Canary, or any other news source with the same political leaning, then this is the app for you. If you'd rather not live in a bubble, and prefer a more balanced assortment of news sources, then go elsewhere. There's no way to easily edit preferences (that I know of), hence the 1 star.
2 ★It's just OK. It probably would be a nice app if they removed the ads it just makes everything feel cluttered and it's not an enjoyable reading experience. Otherwise it seems to run well and do what it's supposed to without issue.
2 ★Too cluttered, too much space for pictures, not enough for text. And ads look deceptively like articles - you have to look hard to see the difference. This seems deliberate to generate more clicks, but it's deception and the main reason I am uninstalling.
1 ★Fake links now? So I could deal with the pop up ads that were starting to get a bit intrusive, but the fake links that don't connect with the thumbnails and just go to ads, well that's just plain shady. Great way to boost people's trust in news sites 👍. Edit- a week later and the fake link is STILL there. Does no one check your content at all? Does anyone there have any aspirations to a semblance of integrity or pride in your creation. Deleting app now.
1 ★Dont waste your time it crashes your phone thought it was cos i had an old phone so got a new phone more memory and up to date and the app still crashes the phone total waste of time too many adverts and then asking to subscribe to papers get a grip of yourself a dont buy papers what makes you think a want to subscribe whennyour app cant even stay open long enough to read one story good bye waste of space app data recording for google pure useless
1 ★Limited sources, some of which have articles behind pay walls, and almost every other 'article' in the feed is an ad. What makes it worse is that it comes preinstalled with xperia phones and when uninstalled will try to reinstall itself sometimes. Very disappointed.
2 ★It provides a lot of news articles to read, but doesn't appear to have the ability to remove specific news sources. So feeds may have stories from trash news writers which have become popular but have no bones to back it up. If you could block providers like you can on Google News then it'd be perfect.
2 ★The UI is very cool, the functionalities as well... But weather only finds Gothenburg in the US. You cannot add your own News/CSS, only pre selected keywords with Grandma news. Very nice on look and feel, but useless for its purpose.
4 ★A very convenient way to read aggregated news, current affairs, entertainment and sport articles and stories from differing news sources. Almost as if curated for me personally. I use it every day, can add news sources I want and is one of my most uses apps daily.
1 ★Horrifying message alerts containing images and graphic descriptions of a poor animals suffering at the hands of evil peoples is not what I want to see flash up on my phone. I should be able to remove this app from the phone altogether Sony but I'll have to settle for removing it from my screen and ignoring requests from the pos app to update it 😡 💦 💪
