5 ★They are still the best! Simple tools may not be adding anymore bells and whistles to this free version (they have also kept it string binder and API etc free too) BUT if like me you can't use a credit card so you can't pay for their pro version it's still nice to have the free one available. Thanks! P.S. their pro version is less then a dollar; yet they do not force you to buy the pro.(It's how I know the cost)recently I had a credit gift (credit card)like American Express)how many cost <1$?
3 ★Feature requests: 1. Please show exact file size in bytes, not rounded off. (absolutely required, basic feature) 2. Check hash of the file. 3. Add option to change default location where app opens. 4. Sorting should persist when the folder selection window for copying/moving opens. I have large number of folders in a folder and if the sorting is by name in the copying window, it takes a lot of time to scroll.
2 ★This file explorer is okay but too basic. Both video and picture files look the same. Normally videos would have some play button icon on it or something. Also files and folder look similar and there seems to be no way to make the icons bigger. I like the color customization of the app but I need a better file explorer and I don't think the pro version would have the features that I expect.
3 ★I love the app, also use gallery. but when sharing i can not see bluetooth as an option??? also root browser doesn't let me browse, I am stuck in the root folder when I try. the latter doesn't really matter since its 'simple' browser, however no option to share with bluetooth requires me to have another file explorer installed.. :/ fix and Ill give 5 stars redmi note5 pro - posp rom EDIT: can share some files over bluetooth, but no .apk files? other managers let me do it without issue
5 ★Perfect for the job. Solid app with all the meat-and-potatoes features. The UI is simple and uncluttered, which is how it should be. I'm using it with the Simple Gallery app as an image file browser/viewer. The combo is the best I've seen on Android so far.
2 ★Seemed great at first. Now I discover that when I MOVE folders to a new location, the app COPIES the folders and files to the new location, but leaves the empty folders at the original location, so I have to go manually delete them. What a pointless waste of time. MOVE means MOVE. It does not mean COPY and LEAVE.
5 ★After the Death of "ES File Explorer" due to its ties with the Mafia, I started the journey to find a new FileManager. I found this one due to me using the "Simple Gallery" app already. The User Interface was too simplistic for me and I uninstalled the app after some hours of using it; but such is the name "Simple File Manager" meaning is a simple-design app. With my personal experience aside, the app is great and works nicely. 5 Shrimps for you 🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐
5 ★Very rare unusual bugs. (Nothing serious. e.g. Wrong thumbnail file image appeared after copying a file??) Almost always very intuitive. (First time I copied/moved files to SD Card was difficult. But now easy.) Most important this App has never crashed/lost (deleted) any files.
5 ★I wanted to purchase the pro version of this app as I am already using your pro simple gallery and I love it. But in simple file manager you guys have to give us grid view and all the other perks you gave us in pro simple gallery. Please guys do this. I downloaded non pro version just to give it a try. List view is cumbersome as we need to scroll down to find some folders. Grid view please.
2 ★Works very well from what I've seen so far. I like that it has a favorite folders option. EDIT: I now see that the favorite folders option can't be accessed while copying and pasting. This severely limits its usefulness
2 ★It confused my Music Player. I still have an alum in the Player named after a folder I made in this app. The folder can't be found (I deleted it) but it's still in the Player. No more folder.. No more app and the folder (Album) is still in the player with a duplicate song. Can't take them out. They don't exist, I can't delete file and folder from Music Player, despite not being there. Q: is this for you or your Player Developer?
5 ★this app is awesome! Finally I can find files on my phone as easy as on my computer. Too bad these don't come standard when you buy a phone instead of the stupid programs that they foist off on us now.
