Description
HIPS Mobile is a solution for clinicians to view digital health records for their patients in the My Health Record system on their mobile devices.The current version is for demonstration and testing purposes, and accesses only fictional health information. A future version will be able to connect to the production environment of My Health Record and access real health information.
The app provides the authenticated clinicians with notifications of new documents in the My Health Record of their patients in hospital, and enables the viewing of documents and messaging between clinicians.
NT Cardiac, NT Department of Health and Healthscope have agreed to trial HIPS Mobile as a solution for viewing digital health records in the My Health Record system. The project objective is to enable a solution for NT Cardiac doctors to view records for their patients in the Royal Darwin Hospital and the Darwin Private Hospital on their mobile devices, and gather feedback for future product development.
The HIPS Mobile product is made available through the Australian Digital Health Agency, who hold the intellectual property. Chamonix is the vendor of the HIPS products to the Agency.
The app will only present information. No patient information can be stored on the app nor can the clinicians make live edits to records through the app to any live systems.
