U kunt het nummer via de app direct bellen of e-mailen. Ook kunt u via de app snel zelf zoeken in de Kennisbank of op de website.Het Nationale Zorgnummer geeft helder advies waarmee u zelf aan de slag kunt. Het team beantwoordt vragen over bijvoorbeeld uw behandeling, uitkeringen, wonen, vervoer, onderwijs, inkomen en rechtsbescherming. Als een eenvoudig advies niet volstaat dan kan het team dit, als u dat wilt, bespreken met het Juridisch Steunpunt. Het Juridisch Steunpunt kan zelf onderzoek doen (dossieronderzoek) en adviseert bij moeilijke procedures.
Het Nationale Zorgnummer is de gezamenlijke hulp- én meldlijn van Ieder(in), MIND Landelijk Platform Psychische Gezondheid en Patiëntenfederatie Nederland. Dit zijn de koepelorganisaties van patiënten-, cliënten- en familieorganisaties in heel Nederland. Samen met partnerorganisaties, geven zij mensen die zorg en ondersteuning nodig hebben een stem én een steun in de rug.
Het Nationale Zorgnummer-team zit van maandag tot en met vrijdag van 9.00 uur tot 17.00 uur voor u klaar. De Kennisbank en website zijn altijd toegankelijk.
