Il sistema E-Bus Tracker nasce quindi con il presupposto di rendere disponibili sui propri dispositivi mobile di uno o più dataset in formato OpenData.
I dataset previsti e quindi le informazioni disponibili sull’applicazione sono:
• Elenco fermate con indicazione delle coordinate GPS
• Elenco fermate per ogni linea
• Posizione autobus (coordinate GPS e tempo e numero linea)
E-Bus Tracker intende anche sfruttare dati di altre sorgenti per fornire dei servizi avanzati di infomobilità, come ad esempio coincidenze con treni, navi e autobus regionali.
