Description
Luua metsarajale kutsume loodushuvilisi inimesi. Rada algab ja lõpeb Luua Metsanduskooli puukool-arboreetumi parklas, kus on suur infotahvel koos rajaskeemiga. Metsarada on 5,2 kilomeetrit pikk ja raja läbimiseks kulub vähemalt 2,5 tundi. Rada on läbitav tavaliste jalanõudega.Matkarada on tähistatud puudele rinnakõrguselt värvitud valge ristkülikuga, mille keskel asub kuldne triip, rajale on paigutatud ka vineerist suunavad nooled. Metsanduslikku teavet saab lugeda rajal olevatelt infotahvlitelt, loodussõpradele huvipakkuvat infot koosluste ja liikide kohta leiate käesolevast mobiilirakendusest.
Rakenduses avaneb rajakaart, mille aluseks on metsaregistri eraldiste kiht. Rajal liikuja näeb igal ajahetkel oma asukohta sellel kaardil ja tal on võimalik jälgida, kui palju on veel kõndida raja lõpuni. Kaardile on märgitud ka rajapunktid ning kui liikuja on jõudnud mõne punktini, siis klõpsates sellel, avaneb konkreetset kohta iseloomustav tekst, pilt ja valikvastustega küsimus või nuputamisülesanne.
