Broadlink RM controller are cheap controllers able to learn & retransmit IR and RF signal, making it possible to control several home appliances with ease.
However, it has never been possible to program and customized the experience outside of their proprietary Broadlink eControl apps.
Not any more! With this Tasker plugin, you can configure these RM Controller to work exactly the way you want it, when you want it.

1 ★Fantastic app - bridges my rm pro to Alexa as well as providing an effective widget based remote control screen on my device! Dev is also very helpful! Edit: The lack of comms from the developers over the newer model support was poor but it is great that they fixed it. Still a 5 star app though! And now it's broken

1 ★No longer works, the andriod device will go to sleep mode and alexa cannotexecute the command. Was told Broadlink has start blocking the featuresfrom RM plugin and now we have to use ihc provided by Broadlink whichsupport Alexa directly.

5 ★I was using this app to link all of my Broadlink remote devices (TV, Amp, Sky Box and Household lighting) to various Amazon echo's that are scattered around the house and using Alexa for voice control. Unfortunately I ran into a few issues when adding a new generation amazon echo device. When scanning for new devices nothing new was getting detected. If this happens to you unplug all of your new generation Echo' devices and plug in an old one. Once that's done ask Alexa to discover devices again and all of your new devices should be detected and added. Amazon appear to have done something iffy with the new devices that blocks the ability for devices added via this plugin to be detected.

3 ★I like this app very much, but it seems to have a long delay beforeperforming the action. Alexa always says my device isn't responding butthen it does maybe 10 seconds later. I am using this on my android box h96max.

1 ★Absolute must have for anyone with RM Pro. Fantastic Alexa intergration. Very stable and regular updates. What more can you ask. Have down rated from 5 stars to 1 as of 8th September 2019 Alexa intergration now no longer works which I belive is due to a change in how Alexa and Philips Hue intergrate.......I hope the devs can sort out a fix and this app can go back to 5 stars....

3 ★I wish you could do a plugin direct for Google home because it really isfrustrating me when I have to turn on the screen or plig it in the chargerto make it work otherwise it will not execute. I hope you do that. I don'tmind buying a Google home separate plugin. I think everyone does.

3 ★Stopped working when updated from 2.4.1 to 2.5 then last night changed to 2.6.0 and back working again with Alexa in UK. Screen on Android is not staying on now tho...will see if that's an issue later. Update nov 19. Stopped working on Nexus 5. Tried on Samsung tab S2...worked again!
