Description
CSV editor is an application designed to edit content in comma-separated values files.It allows you to create, load, edit and save csv files on your phone or tablet. It deals with any file regardless of the number of fields or data type (date, number, text etc..). Multiple files can be added and merged. CSV Editor is able to differentiate numerical and text data. This ensures that within cells all text is aligned to the left and numbers to the right. Accordingly data is displayed in a structured and easy to read format. There is NO need to surround text with quotation marks.

How to install CSV editor APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download CSV editor APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

1 ★Very slow to open files. Opening a second file appends it to the end for some reason. Uninstalled.
1 ★This shouldn't be a paid app when there are other free editors that do the same thing and better.
2 ★Just got it. Opens and reads files well. Shifts the order of columns easily. Allows for individual modification of content... Limited editor functions. No search and replace function, much less the ability to separate a column of values to work on them only. It does not allow PASTE-ing of comma delimetered text into an empty editor screen. A quirk I cannot figure out: it allows filtering at the column level so that, for instance, I can select all my rows with a State value of NY. However, it is impossible to edit any subset or rows. The edit function reverts to the entire list. A low score is well merited. Let's hope there are improvements planned for the future...
2 ★Is crashing quite alot and doesn't let you open new files without adding them to the existing file
5 ★The developer was very responsive when I pointed out a couple of niggles and a new version was released within two days fixing them. Both were cosmetic and hadn't affected the functionality. I'm very pleased.

5 ★After initial problems with this app and limited success, Igave this app a one star rating. Since then I have been in contact with the author who has been outstandingly helpful. I explained the problems to him and he suggested I send him the file or files I was attempting to load so that he could examine them. I received an immediate reply with reasons why it was failing.....nothing to do with this app. My files, produced by a 3rd party application, used non standard field delimiters within the .csv file. He gave me a quick fix by email but then incorporated it in an update within two hours afterwards. The format has now been added to the list on the options menu for all to use. The missing second level edit menu was down to me not realising that you needed to click and hold one of the pencil markers in the main edit screen to open the second drop down menu. Problem solved. With excellent and promp support like this they deserve five stars. Now that I can use the app as intended, I must uprate my review to five stars as well. It does do what it claims, and very well too. Thanks to Mark for all his assistance.
