4 ★Great news, and interesting stories about nature and history, but the app is a little buggy and the videos often crash after starting. That needs to be fixed. Also I cant find a way to share articles from the app to friends on text on whatsapp! Don't know why that won't be available.

1 ★This app is extremely disappointing. One of the main reasons I bought a tablet was to more easily take advantage of my digital subscription to NG and read old issues. Unfortunately, the search feature in this app is useless. I can find no way to restrict results to the "magazine" category, and it doesn't seem to have any of the older issues in the search database. Furthermore, browsing back issues is a hassle (you can only see a thumbnail of the cover-), and not all issues show up. Overall poor.
4 ★I've been using the app for about a month now, and I love being able to take fascinating articles with me everywhere I go. It is easy to use and offers various accessibility features (like larger text) for whoever needs them. My one suggestion is a scroll bar so I know roughly how long an article is. Sometimes they are much shorter or longer than I am expecting. Other than that, great app!
1 ★I like that I can use my tablet to read without having paper copies pile up in my house. I was not happy when I found out N.G. doesn't count this as a real subscription. Every time i come across an article that isn't in the magazine I'm told it's for subscribers only. I contacted customer support and they said that because I bought it here I don't get access. Buy your subscription through the website, save yourself the hassle.
1 ★Please put a scroll bar on article text so I know how long it is. When I load an article I have no idea whether it will be a 5 minute read or a 25 minute read. I don't understand why the scroll bar is hidden, it is one of those fundamental user interface elements that's been around for 30+ years. Don't sacrifice usability for purity. Also, a Feedback link in the Settings menu would be helpful.
3 ★Good app and good natgeo content. However, the more I use it the more ridiculous and annoying I find it to have natgeo website links in the articles that then take me to your website without subscriber information tagging along forcing login prompts for every link. This is really basic stuff and pushing be away from the app entirely because each link is an inconvenience.
