2 ★I'm coming from a provider that uses the Brightwheel app but, this app has lots of opportunity for improvement.. No calendar for scheduled school closure, No obvious option to message the teacher, No option to submit paperwork, No option to set up auto-pay, Too many steps to download pics and video, No option to update my child's profile pic, etc, etc... The app is super basic and the UI for parents is lackluster. A little more investment in the app features from parents pov would go a long way.
1 ★It's awful! I've been using it a month now and I've never been able to see the daily reports in real time. Most of them I see days or weeks later. Then there is this thing of the messages that I never get or the notes sent by the daycare staff I never get. Supposedly the teacher recommended some books I've been able to read one by myself when checking the app one day when my baby was at daycare, but I was never able to read the book or see the library again.
1 ★We're brand new at this. This is my daughter's first daycare. Our first check in was today and it has been complete silence from the other end. I've gotten no updates or daily reports the whole day. No matter how many times I've refreshed. I've posted notes to the daycare and gotten nothing back. Is this going to be fixed soon ? I'd like to have access to my child while using this app.
1 ★2022- No where to send a message. The app I downloaded doesn't have all the menu buttons at the bottom (as shown on this app listing). Useless and frustrating. Update: the tech team reached out to me & said it would all work after our first check-in at the daycare. It completely did not work for half of the parents. 6 months in, and still half the buttons missing at the bottom. Also, the "daily report" takes 3-4 minutes to refresh. One of the worst apps I've ever used. 2024 - still the same!
1 ★The daily report always get stuck "refreshing" the next day. I always have to close out the app and re open it. Also it would be nice if we can leave comments after checking in for the day. Fix this and ill adjust my rating.
1 ★App never loads photos worst app I have ever used. I'm forced to use it because of the cheap operating costs my daycare had to pay.
2 ★It's extremely annoying and problematic that new messages in the "messages" feed are added at the end of the list, rather than newest message first. Every time I get a message from the daycare, I have to watch the entire history of messages scroll past, while I wait to arrive at the bottom of the list.
1 ★Every single time I open the app, it fails to load the daily notes and hangs on "Refreshing" forever. I need to force close the app and reopen it. Every single time.
2 ★It's basically useless because of bugs. There is no way to communicate through the app after the child is dropped off at school it locks everything. Then there's a bug with the "daily report" where it always says "refreshing"so you can never actually get the update after you pick up your child. So the only thing that works is drop off notes in the morning before you drop off. Almost useless, not quite.
