2 ★I loved this app at first, scanned well and picked up all the important data. Lately it has been crashing a lot and is always running in the background using battery. I cannot think of a good reason a card app should always be running
4 ★The card reader is great, or should I say WAS great until they removed the ability to sync to Google contacts. Now you have to pay USD50 a year to have that feature. I guess it's the price to pay for their cloud server but it's too costly for such an app.
4 ★Been using this app for 6 years and it's fantastic. Text recognition has greatly improved and if say it went from 69% when I first installed to 95% usable without manual edits. Does everything I need. Keeps all the captured stuff in the cloud and sync as push to my Google contacts. Now that I only use the auto capture and auto sync features. I did lose some contacts in their system after a phone swap 4 years ago but since then it's kept everything accurate and archived 4 iPhones and 10 Android
2 ★I received the notification "CamCard is using battery" from Android System even I already closed the app. I opened the notification and saw the Active Time was few hours ! ( I just installed it and use it for few minutes, then closed it). I have checked to make sure the program is not running on background from the beginning when I received this notification. So it is somehow the app actives secretly and I don't know for what purpose it keeps active. Please fix it or refund the money..
2 ★How many upgrades? I tried the free version which was ok so bought the full version (or so I thought). Unable to export contacts to outlook so everything is locked in the app. I also found out I am limited to 500 cards for the paid app. But if I upgrade "premium" and pay the monthly fee I can export my contacts and have unlimited scans. I wonder if there is a platinum service after that ? Tired of being held hostage to these types of apps
1 ★after purchasing we even need to purchase the subscription, and after all the cards which are being scanned and saved into it, shows the pop up failed to share while sharing to someone. This is what we expect from camcard having subscription and paid purchases.
1 ★I already had the app downloaded for free previously. Seeing that its listed again with a price i was under the impression im getting the premium version this time. Seems like what happen was i downloaded the same "free" version this time with a fee and woulf still need to pay for a premium again. Could you please rectify this ASAP.
1 ★It was a good app , and now I couldnt even login even after purchasing it , as this app was indicating my number is already used and couldn't get any contacts but I had a habit of following keeping manual cards in card wallets , hence didnt suffer much . This online card saving was good but sometimes we may not get as expected.
1 ★Bought this app about three weeks back. Have been trying to log in every day since then. But am frustrated completely. Every time, I get a message that the server is busy and try again later. This is not professional to charge for an app without validation
1 ★I purchased premium membership for a lifetime a years ago, now they asking me to pay again for premium membership. How come???? Never ever!!!! And it's not only me, lots of subscribers get the same issue!!!!!!
5 ★way better than a pile of paper cards! the ocr makes plenty of mistakes but gets enough right to help find cards, or you can easily correct. there's always a picture of the card stored with the entry, so for my purposes i let a lot of mistakes go. importantly you can export everything from time to time.
5 ★I used CamCard for a little while and liked it was annoyed with how it struggled with reading some cards. An update must have fixed that, because now it reads almost everything perfectly. Simple to use and very convenient.
